As much as I hate to say it, I caved. In July, I was due for a cell phone upgrade (really, it was about 8 months overdue) and being the Apple girl that I am, I decided to try my hand at the iPhone. (Don't worry, I still keep my droid eris handy). With this move, I was introduced to two photo post processing apps that have completely recharged my Right hemisphere along with the ridiculously strong camera that this lil thing has. (It really is a shame it has this many mpx's).
So, the unlikely inspiration?
Well, I use to consider myself a purist when it came to cameras, but then I got a DSLR.
I still considered myself a purist as I didn't like to do a lot of post processing with my photos I took, and then `
cweeks showed me what I could do with levels to create something completely awesome.
Attempting to still cling to photographic purity, I kept reminding myself that I strove to produce fine art photography, not just scrapbooking material, and that I use some amazing lenses combined with my unique perspective... and then my drive dried up.
(insert 2 year hiatus)
...and then I got the iPhone... and I became a full-child of the digital photographic age.
Not gonna lie...it's pretty cool (insert smirk)
